This month has been so very busy. I could have posts for everyday if time allowed and my computer cooperated. My poor computer after 5 years is calling it quits and so I am awaiting my new laptop and praying that it will be much faster than what I have been working with.
So I have some new wonderful recipes that I plan to post later but now I have a really cute project to post. This month of course we celebrated Mother's Day which was wonderful. My husband helped make mine extra BRIGHT (a gift of teeth whitening, which I had been wanting) While getting my teeth cleaned the hygenist suprised me by telling me that my sweet husband had bought my gift and they would be getting me set up. He is so thoughtful!

Well, with Mother's Day our home church has an annual Ladies Tea. It is such an event for us to prepare for and much planning was involved. My mother in law found this great papercrafting site that shared all these wonderful ideas. http://www.juliabettencourt.com/blog/?p=1650. I was able to recreate (with my mother in law's help!!!) these Aprons and Purses for our table decorations. We only needed about 150 aprons and 50 purses. No problem. Hahaha. We worked and worked and worked some more, but I must say they really did add to the table decor. I was very pleased. The whole event was really great and I enjoyed taking a part in planning and preparing. We are already preparing for next year , well maybe not yet, but we probably should considering the time involved.
