Simple Additions

Sometimes I am at a craft store and I see an item that I can't resist. Last summer I found these rhinestone cherries that I just had to have. I wasn't sure how or when I would use it but I knew I would. So this summer while browsing Walmart I picked up Laney girl some red shorts, after buying and washing them I realized she had nothing to match it. So to the craft drawer I went and I found the cherries. I was very excited to find my forgotten purchase. But then I was on the hunt for a great tank to put them on. Target is so wonderful this tank was only $3.00. So following the applique instructions I ironed on the cherries and within minutes a new outfit was formed. I love how a simple addition can add so much style.

I must say these are Laney girl's first pigtails. It made me a little sad to see her so grown-up. I know it is inevitable but if I could freeze time I believe I would. Thank God for pictures to capture our little ones every moments.
