Thankfully, (as I bragged last month) I have an unbelievably, wonderful husband. I jump out of the car and he casually walks up laughing, hugs me and assures me it is okay. I think he is getting used to this. In the last year that I have owned this Durango beast I have plowed into three different stationary objects and caught the hatch on the garage door (that is another story). This being the most damaging of course. The others were just slight offenses yet this one takes the cake.

How could I?
Every Thursday morning I am co-leading a Beth Moore Bible study at our church. This morning I was so proud of myself for packing everything in the car, preparing the kids breakfast ( I even baked cookies) and did all this with time to spare. So into the car we go. Seat belts buckled. Rob kisses Laney and I wave goodbye. Shouldn't seeing my husband trigger something in my mind that if he is home so is his Huge, Black truck? For the normal mind, yes, but mine is not so alert these days. I tossed the car into reverse and into the truck I plowed, all while my husband watched. What makes me wonder is even as I hear the sound, felt the thump I thought "What did I hit" and like lightning crashing, reality sank in...
